With all that’s happening (or not happening) during the Coronavirus quarantine, I thought it might be helpful to people to re-read Erin’s journal entries. I’m going to try to post one of her entries occasionally during this time of pondering. It’s ideal for your Lenten reflections.

Today’s entry was made when Erin was 15. It was the first entry I read- it jumped off the page at me- it gave me comfort about Erin’s accident -that Jesus was there to carry her home.  God’s answers to our prayers are not always what we’re hoping they’ll be, but He’s dealing with the Big Picture-we’re just used to thinking for the present time. He has much better plans for our eternity. I hope that her writings will remind you of that.

If you don’t already have the book, the e-book is available at ‘s bookstore and on Amazon. There’s a full-color version and a black and white one.   I have a LOT of books at home. As long as the post office is still working, I’m going to offer a special Quarantine special-that includes tax and shipping- $10 for the b/w paperback and $30 for the color edition. Just send me your address and what you would like inscribed and I can send them out to you or directly to your friends/family. You can e-mail me at

Be Safe. Be well.
